About Me
Like many writers, my love of books started early. I can still remember the moment reading “clicked” with me, when the little black lines and squiggles on my Dr. Seuss books suddenly made sense. My reading habit was instilled in me by my mother, and later, my brother, both of whom fed me book after book, usually prefaced with “hey, have you read [insert book] yet?”
While I mainly write genre fiction (horror, sci-fi, and psychological thrillers), I love any story well-told. In fact, my personal reading list is often comprised of family dramas, memoirs, and history.
I’ve been an English teacher since 2002 (it pays the bills and gives me health insurance), but I’ve been self-publishing since 2016. In addition to writing, I’m a musician. I play drums and write and sing (and do all of the studio recording, mixing, and mastering) for Alpha Jerk.
I live in Virginia with my wife, Angie, and our little calico cat, Grace Kelly.
